UPDATE: I emailed Remedy to confirm whether these were registered for planned sequels or "just in case" they make a sequel. Mika replied and said they were registered "just in case" they make some sequels. But it's good to see Remedy thinking of this, I'm sure they are wanting to continue the story and make it into a series like many of us are hoping.
A few days ago, 28th December to be precise, after registering alanwake.co.uk to use for this website, I realised a couple of other domains had been registered.
Remedy have registered the domains alanwake2.com and alanwake3.com for a period of 3 years each. So does this mean they're already planning sequels to the game? I sure hope so. It probably means Remedy are progressing really well with the game and are keen to continue the series (if we can call it that already). This being said, they do also own the domain AlanWakeMovie.com, so maybe a movie is being planned too.
The possibilty of sequels to the game is great to hear and is something new to discuss. If you haven't already done so, why not register on our forums and start chatting about this piece of exciting news.

Wow - Remedy don't seem to be able to breathe without you finding out about it
Although I expect that these domains were bought 'just in case' of a sequel, and anyway someone else would buy them if Remedy didn't, and it is a domain people may visit to check for the existence of a sequel after the first game.
I would like to see what Remedy have to say on the matter though...
