Sorry if we got your hopes up a bit there, we don't actually have a proper new screenshot, just a bit of a teaser of one!

Over in the official Alan Wake forums, Remedy's Director of Development, Markus Maki, posted his desktop wallpaper which just happened to contain a few little teasers for us, the biggest of which being a sneak peek at a new screenshot. If you look closely you'll see he has blanked out a few windows and has a Word document open. Maybe nothing of much relevance to us but it's one way to raise excitement levels!
